Matthew Blake

A resident of the Vail Valley since 2002, Matt ventured to the Rockies from New England for a love of the outdoor mountain lifestyle. A Middlebury College Graduate with a background in the financial industry, Matt has been a top-producer in the real estate industry in Eagle County since 2005, and approaches every day with energy and enthusiasm.
Matt is involved with several organizations and Boards and completed his term as the Chairman (President) of the Vail Board of Realtors (2011-12) after serving on the Board of Directors for 4 years, as Mountain District Liaison for the Colorado Young Professionals Network, and several other industry committees. Matt has also served as a Director for the Vail Board of Realtors Foundation and on the Advisory Board for the Vail Valley Young Professionals Association. Additionally, Matt was recognized as the 2011 Realtor of the Year in Vail for his overall dedication to the profession. Matt has achieved the Certified Residential Specialist, Resort and Second Home Property Specialist, Certified International Property Specialist, Green Designation, At Home With Diversity Accreditation, and Certified Distressed Property Expert Designations, while formerly holding an Appraisal License.
Matt's clients most often use the words integrity, intelligence and passion when describing his approach to working on their behalf. Uncompromising market knowledge and a strong work ethic have enabled Matt to consummate a wide variety of transactions ranging from high-end resort sales to vacant land and local housing throughout the Vail Valley. Matt also has significant experience in new development sales while working as an exclusive listing agent and managing the project sales team for the Ritz-Carlton Residences, in addition to several other new construction projects in the area. An annual top-producer in Eagle County, Matt sold over $50M of real estate in 2020 alone.
Matt lives in EagleVail with his wife, Lynn, and his son Thomas. When he's not selling real estate, you will find Matt pursuing his passions of skiing, mountain biking, trail running, and hiking throughout Colorado's majestic mountains. Matt is also an avid supporter of Sudden Cardiac Arrest awareness and his wife's nonprofit, Starting Hearts.
